Ally Sheedy
Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy is an American actor from the United States. Her birth date was June 13th, 1962. Her first film appearance was in Bad Boys (1983). Following that, she joined the Bratpack group and appeared as a character in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club(1985) as well as Short Circuit (1986). Sheedy's performance in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (2000) won her the Independent Spirit Award, Best Female Actor. Ally Sheedy has been an American author and actress for more than 20 years. Her movie career started in her early 80s when she was featured as a character actress for the crime-drama film, Bad Boys. Rick Rosenthal directed the movie that also featured a number of famous actor Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown Alan Ruck. In 1985, following her success on screen, the actress appeared on screen in The Breakfast Club - a comedy/drama. The film directed by John Hughes is considered one of the greatest high school films ever made. The film was made for just $1,000,000, but the film made over 50 million dollars. While she was doing this, her debut on television took place on CBS Schoolbreak. It was a show for teenagers and started in April 1980. She also appeared on other TV series such as Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues. Her most recent appearances include Little Sister, a film featuring a superhero where Sheedy is an appearance in a minor role. Sheedy is known for her amazing performance, has won numerous awards. Sheedy was awarded the MTV Movie Awards' Gold Bucket of Excellence Award 2005.
