Selena Gomez, an actress and singer, is a household name worldwide. One of the shows she's been a part of that has had the greatest success was the Disney series Wizards of Waverly Place. Selena Marie Gomez's full name is Selena Marie Gomez. She was born July 22 on 1993 in Grand Prairie Texas. Parents include Amanda Cornett and Ricardo Gomez. Her mother was only sixteen at the time Selena arrived. Her first professional acting job as a showbiz actress at the age of 9 in the role of Gianna on Barney and her Friends. This was when she became one of the children who performed with the most well-known human-like purple dinosaur ever created. Selena contributed to some episodes of the seasons 7 and 8. The time period was 2001 to 2003. It's a great fact that Selena isn't the only singer who worked on Barney and his Friends at this time; Demi Lovato also was part of the cast of the show. Selena Gomez had a few auditions for various series and films following the conclusion of Barney and His Friends. The auditions were not successful. In 2003, she had an unimportant role in Mini Spies 3: (Spy Kids 3D: Game Over) and also in Walker Texas Ranger Trial by Fire in the role of Julie.
