Annie Mist Thorisdottir works as an experienced professional CrossFit athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. She owns and runs Crossfit Reykjavik in Iceland, where she trains athletes. Annie is the only woman ever to win in the CrossFit Games two times. In 2010, she placed 2nd. Annie Thorisdottir is a Icelanders CrossFit athlete weightlifter and media celebrity. She has gained fame for being the sole woman who has ever won the two CrossFit Games: in 2011 and 2012. Other accomplishments includes winning the Dubai Fitness competitions in 2013, 2017 and 2013. Annie and her parents and siblings were all born and brought up within Reykjavik Iceland. As a child she was an avid lover of exercise and sports. She participated in many school events and earned several medals. She first competed in CrossFit in California in the year 2009. The performance she showed was impressive in her initial games. Annie Thorisdottir will be 31 in 2021. She's 5'7 tall and weighs around 67kg. Annie started CrossFit Training in California at the age of 2009. She performed well in initial races and placed at the top of the list out of 70. She did not take home a title and finished with a 11th-place finish in the event. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. At the CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen, she came second and took home a silver medal in the same year. As a result of her exceptional performance, she managed to win the CrossFit Games title and become the first female CrossFit Games winner. Annie's impressive performance in 2012 brought to her a third CrossFit Games victory. This was her second consecutive time she had won consecutively. A silver medal was won in 2014; and in 2021, she was awarded a Bronze medal in the CrossFit Games. Annie is currently a coach and trainer in Crossfit Reykjavik, which she founded. Annie was a well-known athlete when she gained recognition. She's worked with many sports brands like Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Revolution Periodization Nuun Hydroxylysis Sidekick Yerbae, among others. In addition, she has her own Youtube channel titled "Annie" which has over 1,000 subscribers. It is the channel where she uploads videos about eating habits, parenting as well as travel.
