Hayley Orantia is American actor, musician and performer. The most famous of her roles is Erica Goldberg who stars in The Goldbergs, a comedy TV show. Her definition of herself is an artist first and foremost. She says that music has always been her first passion. At the age of 12, her music began to take on a serious nature and she began professional training. At the age of 13 She began to write herself songs. The first album she released as a cover wasn't released until fourteen years later. The music has never stopped ever since. Orrantia has Hispanic origins, but was born in the USA. She's proud of the existence of Hispanic origins, despite using English exclusively and has never lived in Mexico. Through studying Spanish and writing songs, she is trying to maintain the spirit of her culture. "Hasta Verte" is a song in Spanish which she recorded can be a perfect example. Orrantia appeared on The X Factor during its first season, in summer 2011. Orrantia, who was initially chosen from YouTube videos and got the four "yeses," from judges in Seattle at the time of live auditions. At first, she auditioned as a soloist, she as well as three female singers were grouped together for the remaining auditions during "Hollywood Week". The group was eliminated at the fifth week during the live performances.
