Hayley Orantia is an American actress, musician and performer. People are most familiar with her character Erica Goldberg in the comedy TV series 'The Goldbergs'. However, she considers herself to be primarily an artist. She says that music was always her first passion. As she grew to 12 old, music became seriously enough to warrant formal training. The year 2013 saw her take on songwriting and produced her debut album. Since then there has been never a moment to rest. Orrantia, born in America, but has Hispanic roots. She is proud of the existence of Hispanic roots despite in English only and never lived in Mexico. In her pursuit of learning Spanish and composing songs, she tries to maintain the spirit of her culture. "Hasta Verte," which she recorded in Spanish is one such attempt. The summer of 2011, Orrantia auditioned for the first episode of The X Factor. Orrantia won the first season of The X-Factor following the submission of an YouTube recording of her audition. She was awarded an impressive four "yes" votes from the judge during the live stage show in Seattle. Her initial audition was for solo performance, but in "Hollywood week" she was put together with three female singers to form a trio during remaining auditions.
